Priest in Charge
The Rev. Dr. Susan Kraus

Rev. Kraus joined St. Columba’s as priest in charge in October, 2021. Following a career as a psychologist working in programs for children with special needs, Susan was ordained in 2005 in the Diocese of New York. She served parishes there and in Connecticut before moving to Maine in 2008. From 2009 through 2019 she was priest at St. Giles’ Church in Jefferson. Susan and her husband, Don, live in Augusta. They both enjoy reading, music, and walking. Susan also takes pleasure in quilting and sewing, knitting, needlepoint, and weaving.
